How do we dispel and counteract myths and misconceptions around refugees in our community?
This is a question that Life As A Refugee (LAAR) 2019 try to answer during its annual conference.
Held by the London Cross Cultural Learner Centre, the conference will revolve around four themes: pre-arrival, landing, settlement, and integration.
Sharon Bala, author of The Boat People will be the keynote speaker of the event.
