Preserving And Improving The Mental Health of refugees and private sponsors

Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and depression are very common among refugees.

Blame it on the fact that most of them have been subjected to separation from home, torture, imprisonment, arrest, and deprivation.

On top of that, the uncertainty of their situation may lead to anxiety, tension, negative feelings, and feelings of helplessness.

A mental health strategy might come in handy to help mitigate the damage and increase refugees’ resilience and recovery.

To help you understand mental health, its threats, and challenges to sound mental health, the Refugee Sponsorship Training Program (RSTP) is organizing a webinar.

Date: Monday, January 8th, 2019
