The Road to Citizenship for Newcomers

An online workshop for private refugee sponsors Faith-based, Community and Groups of Five

Join us to learn how to open a discussion with those you sponsor around the road to citizenship when the time is right.

We will be exploring barriers and incentives around applying and completing citizenship requirements, including cost and language facility, cultural concerns, and Canada’s nation-building. Our presenters will give you tips on how to have the conversation, what residence years are required, the test itself as well as roles and responsibilities of citizenship.
