Webinar: Journey to Promote Mental Health - Working with Clients with a Traumatic Past

OCASI - The Ontario Council of Agencies Serving Immigrants is pleased to announce an online webinar series focusing on Journey to Promote Mental Health: Working with Clients with a Traumatic Past.

This training is designed to enhance the capacity of frontline workers from the settlement service sector in addressing and dealing with mental health issues presented by the individuals they serve. Moreover, the training program will be modified to include content that will equip settlement workers to be able to serve refugees with traumatic experiences and with stigma on mental illness.

The overarching goal is to enhance participants’ knowledge, awareness, and skills of cultural understanding and to review their practices in order to improve their services for refugees coming from diverse backgrounds.
