How To Prepare A Settlement Plan For Group Of Five

You should not be neglecting your settlement plan.

After all, it provides proof that you have carefully planned out the settlement support that you will be providing once the refugee sets foot in Canada.

It informs the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) who will be doing the tasks associated with the settlement of the sponsored refugee(s).

To help you fill out the form, the Refugee Sponsorship Training Program (RSTP) is organizing a webinar.

Job Readiness

Constituent Groups (CG) are invited to assist to a Job readiness session organized by the Office for Refugees, Archdiocese of Toronto (ORAT).

This session aims to help newcomers work in Canada.

Participants will have information like work plan for integration, education and upgrading skills and work.

Needs assessment, resume writing, employment workshops, and job search workshops are also part of the session.

IRCC Processing Time orientation

The Office for Refugees, Archdiocese of Toronto (ORAT)  invites you to an orientation that will give you the opportunity to connect with someone from the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

This session aims to help Cosponsor/ Resettlement group members to gain an understanding of the complex IRCC procedure and to learn how to connect with the visa office throughout the immigration process.
