12th Annual Social Work Research Symposium
Due to wars, violence or persecution, people are fleeing their countries around the world.
On top of that, they have to face xenophobic ideologies in some stances.
To address this issue, York University, School Of Social Work, is organizing its 12 annual social work research symposium.
This year’s theme is Securing Our Political Futures: Critical Social Work And Social Science Conversations On Xenophobic Nationalisms.

Refugee Rights Day Art Exhibit
To mark the Refugee Rights Day, the West Neighbourhood House is organizing an art exhibit.
Participants will be able to admire various artistic pieces made by newcomers and refugees.
