To date there are currently 23 primary care sites within the GTA cooperating in offering care tailored to Syrian refugees, with more joining as the days progress. As the numbers of new arrivals grow these Health Services Providers are interested in seeing the refugees, not only because of symptoms they may presently be experiencing, but also as a preventative measure.

Beginning today, IKEA Canada is offering support for refugee families settling in Canada through donations of IKEA home furnishings. IKEA Canada will accept applications from registered charitable organizations from December 10th through March 31st, 2016, or until the project budget has been exhausted, through an online application form.
