Pre-migration and Migration Experiences of Black LGBTQ+ Refugees in Canada
OCASI - The Positive Spaces Initiative (PSI) cordially invites you to participate in the conference within the programming of the 75th Anniversary Convention on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights: Pre-migration and Migration Experiences of Black LGBTQ+ Refugees in Canada
During the conference, Laurent Francis Ngoumou, in collaboration with OCASI, will shed light on the pre-migration and migration experiences of Black LGBTQ+ refugees in Canada.
The presentation will address the challenges faced by these individuals, including the violence, exploitation, and abuse they encounter during their journey. Furthermore, it will highlight the adverse effects on their mental and physical well-being.
By raising awareness about these issues, the conference aims to foster a greater understanding of the unique struggles faced by Black LGBTQ+ refugees in Canada and advocate for improved support systems to address their specific needs.
