Aimed at sponsors who have recently sponsored refugees to help them settle into their new homes. The webinar focuses on employment-related issues, which can be a significant challenge for refugees seeking to rebuild their lives in a new country.
During the webinar, participants will learn about the various post-arrival responsibilities of sponsors towards the sponsored refugees, explicitly focusing on employment-related issues.
The webinar will cover topics such as:
- helping refugees navigate the job market,
- identifying and accessing employment support programs, and
- understanding the cultural differences that may impact employment opportunities.
By the end of the webinar, sponsors will better understand how to support sponsored refugees in finding and maintaining employment, which is crucial for their successful integration into their new community.
