Webinar: Service Delivery in Times of Crises: Service Providers’ Perspectives

OCASI / Initiative to End Gender-Based Violence in Immigrant and Refugee Communities invites you to the upcoming webinar: Service Delivery in Times of Crises: Service Providers’ Perspectives.

During the pandemic, the service sector experienced massive changes in its mode and style of operation. However, little is known about the challenges and success of these changes. To understand these changes, their challenges, and for whom they worked, this webinar presents findings from a recently completed study. The study reviewed the literature on intimate partner violence, Covid-19 responses, and service providers globally. The webinar will highlight key findings that pertain to the challenges that service providers experienced at this time from their perspectives, followed by a discussion of how these challenges can be mitigated.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn about service providers' challenges in times of crisis.
  • Learn about the best practices utilized by service providers from across the globe.
  • Discuss ways to better service provision and support service providers.

About the course:

The webinar's content is from a study that is part of a larger project, collaboratively done by the University of Guelph, Community Engaged Scholarship Institute (CESI) and Woman ACT.
