Annual Tripartite Consultations on Resettlement (ATCR) 2023
The Annual Tripartite Consultations on Resettlement (ATCR) event is the most important forum for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), government representatives from resettlement States, the private sector, academia, NGOs, and refugees to discuss and advance resettlement issues of common interest.
The ATCR has provided a forum to discuss a wide range of policy and procedural issues, including advocacy, capacity building, and operational support, since 1995.
ATCR 2023 will occur from June 26 to 28 in Geneva, Switzerland. It will be chaired by the Government of Ireland, represented by the Irish Refugee Protection Programme (IRPP) in the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth, and co-chaired by Nasc Ireland.
The overall theme of the ATCR 2023 is "Learning in crisis: Building solutions together."
This year, the Canadian delegation will be sending 5 NGO representatives.
